Important Note

Someone has brought it to my attention that scheduling feed delivery on kindlefeeder.com may violate the Amazon Kindle's terms of service. Please read this blog post on TeleRead for details.

I've written Amazon's legal department for clarification. It's been over 3 months (as of March 3, 2009), and I still haven't heard back. Until I get a response, Kindlefeeder's delivery scheduling feature will remain available.

Anyone from the Amazon Kindle team, please feel free to contact me about this matter at dhchoi@gmail.com. I believe Amazon should not just allow but encourage independent software developers to develop useful services like Kindlefeeder for Kindle users. Other companies like Netflix and the New York Times are already opening up their platforms to add-on third-party software services with very positive results.

About the developer

Kindlefeeder was created by Daniel Choi, a Kindle owner, an independent Ruby software developer based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a member of Betahouse, a Boston-centric coworking community of web developers and entreprenuers.

Another website I recently created is instantwatcher.com, a Netflix mashup which has garnered good reviews for its usefulness.
